Spring Rush 2026

 

Join us for “Denim & Diamonds: A Classy Affair” on Saturday, March 14.

Dance the night away as we party with a purpose of raising funds for our public service initiatives and scholarships to help high school seniors further their education.

Entertainment: Soul Expressions Band
Catering: Marie’s Daughters
Attire: Semi-formal (Sneakers allowed)
Ticket: $50 donation
Age: 21 and up

Tickets must be purchased directly from members of the Farmville Alumnae Chapter. (No tickets will be sold at the door.)

*All proceeds fund chapter public service initiatives as well as scholarships for high school seniors within our service area of Amelia, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Nottoway, and Prince Edward Counties.

**All ticket purchases are non-refundable and not able to be exchanged.

Winter is approaching fast! Farmville Alumnae Chapter’s emergency response team does not want you to be left out in the cold or stranded so be sure you have your emergency supplies in place:

  • Drinking water
  • Non-perishable foods/snacks
  • Non-electric can opener
  • Disposable cups, cutlery, and plates
  • Portable ice cooler
  • Change of clothes
  • Extra pair of glasses
  • Blankets/sleeping bags
  • Radio with extra batteries
  • Flashlight with extra batteries
  • Toilet paper
  • Emergency family plans
  • Charged cell phones
  • Phone charger
  • Credit cards or cash
  • Special items for pets
  • Special items for disabled persons
  • First aid kit
  • Gas in your tank
  • Check air in your tires
  • Jumper cables
  • Tire chains/tow strap
  • Ice scraper, shovel, and gloves
  • Sand/kitty litter

We volunteered at the 9th Annual “Feed the Community” Thanksgiving Dinner in Farmville to ensure families enjoyed a hearty meal.

Our first donation from our food drive was to The Hope Pantry to support families in Nottoway County.


Friday, November 7, 2025

We supported STEPS, Inc. as they raised awareness for domestic and sexual violence at their event, “The Compassionate Purse.” We helped with setup earlier in the day and assisted throughout the event.
